Wired doorbell: both PoE and standard wires

Hi guys,

I have read threads about Doorbird video door intercoms, but I’m unsure if it meets my needs. Here’s my situation:

I have a standard doorbell with a switch wired to a transformer and an Ethernet wire for a future camera-equipped doorbell. Now, I want to install a wired camera doorbell system. My requirements are:

  • Maintains the hardwired bell option in case of internet/network issues
  • Connects to the Ethernet wire for online camera access (via phone or computer)
  • Does not require Wi-Fi
  • Does not require a doorbell subscription

I understand the camera won’t work without the network, but I still want a functioning doorbell in those situations.
