I have the Wyze Doorbell Duo and have been looking for the white rechargeable battery in stores. I checked Walmart, Best Buy, and Target in LA, but none of them had Wyze products in their home security sections.
I know I can order one on Amazon, but I’d prefer to buy it in person if possible. Does anyone know where I can find Wyze batteries in a physical store?
Wyze doesn’t really sell accessories like batteries in stores, only online.
That battery isn’t something you’ll find on a store shelf. It might not be totally unique to Wyze, but I don’t know of any other widely available products that use it.
If the Doorbell Pro and Battery Cam Pro become really popular, maybe some stores will start carrying spare batteries, but it’s not very likely. Most people don’t buy extra batteries, and if they have issues with battery life, they usually switch to a different product instead of buying replacements.

I see. I thought Wyze was a big brand in home security because I see it a lot on Amazon. I already have the doorbell, so I can’t really switch now. Is Wyze’s subscription more expensive than other brands?

Wyze is actually known for being one of the cheaper options, which is why it’s so popular. The trade-off is that their products aren’t always the most reliable.
If you have a strong wifi setup, Wyze devices usually work well. But if your wifi is weak or spotty, you might run into problems.

That makes sense. I have another security camera from a different brand, and it worked fine with my wifi setup, but Wyze kept disconnecting. I ended up moving my router closer to the door just to make it work.

If you had to move the router just to get it working, you might want to look into getting a mesh wifi system. That would help keep a stable connection for all your smart devices.
