I have a tiny 1,000-square-foot house with cameras (Reolink via Blue Iris) and Aqara door/window sensors that have been quite reliable over the last year or two.
What is the ideal keypad/security “hub” setup?
Bonus points if you can recommend live monitoring for insurance.

Mine is Abode; it works well overall, but one catch: to get alerts when the alarm goes off, you need to pay a monthly fee for self-monitoring. Without the subscription, you can still use Home Assistant to arm and disarm the system, check sensor status, and get notifications when sensors change.
A good feature of Abode is its backup battery and cellular backup, but the cellular backup requires the subscription.
