Want to add a camera to my toolbox but no WiFi, any ideas?

I want to put a camera on my toolbox so I can see who takes what, but we don’t have WiFi for it to connect to. I only need to check the footage when I’m at work, so as long as it records to an SD card, that’s fine.

Any suggestions on what kind of camera to use and how to set it up? Thanks.

You could use a cheap dashcam. It doesn’t need WiFi, just records straight to an SD card. Some even have motion detection, so it will only record when someone is near. If you get a dual cam version, you’ll have an extra camera to use somewhere else.

If you want to check live footage sometimes, you could set up a Wyze v3 with an SD card and connect it through your phone’s hotspot when needed.
