I’ve had a Vivint system for about five years, and recently my doorbell broke. It came with a lifetime warranty, but unfortunately, the model is no longer available. I assumed they would provide a free upgrade since they couldn’t replace it with the same model, but they only offered me a 20% discount instead. This has me questioning whether they will honor the lifetime warranty on the rest of my equipment.
Now I’m considering whether it’s time to upgrade to a new system with a different company. I’m currently looking at Cove, Ring, and ADT as alternatives.
Does anyone have experience with these companies or advice on whether I should make the switch? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
