SimpliSafe has its detractors, but for approximately $150 on sale, you can order or pick up a DIY system at Lowe’s that will offer you two or more entry sensors and motion detection. It may be altered to suit your needs, and you can take it with you when you depart.
@Padukone There are security flaws in Simplisafe that should not be present in a security system. That should tell you everything you need to know about their history of handling them.
