Spotlight On or Off for Tree-Mounted PTZ Camera?

I’ve recently installed a PTZ camera on a tree near the road, and it has pretty decent night vision. However, I’m debating whether to keep the spotlight on or off. On one hand, the spotlight could enhance the camera’s visibility, but on the other, it might draw unwanted attention, making it more likely for someone to notice, climb the tree, and potentially steal or damage the camera.

Would you recommend leaving the light on for better footage, or is it safer to keep it off to avoid attracting attention? Any advice would be appreciated!

For a tree-mounted PTZ camera, using the spotlight can improve visibility in low-light conditions and enhance image quality. However, it may cause glare or attract attention. Evaluate your specific monitoring needs and test both options to determine what works best for your security requirements.
