Security Cameras with No Audio?

Sup guyz…

I wanna set up a couple of indoor security cameras for my home, but I have a specific requirement: they cannot have audio capability. Most of the affordable options I’ve found so far come with audio functionality, which I don’t need or want.

Does anyone know of any security cameras available on the home market that come without audio?

My ADT-provided cameras are cloud-based and don’t have audio recording capabilities. Alarm.con provides the same service as well.

Want security cameras without microphones?
You’re not alone! Most have audio, but:

  1. Many cameras let you disable the microphone in settings.
  2. Traditional CCTV cameras often skip audio altogether.
  3. Some nanny cams focus on video, ditching microphones.

Finding them might take a bit more digging, but they’re out there!

Most IP security cameras record or stream audio, though you can turn this on and off.

Some cameras also record audio.
They have a built-in microphone that’s weatherproof and can record sound continuously.
Cameras five years and older typically do not have microphones built-in.
It also depends on the brand and model number of the specific camera.
