Ring Doorbell power supply question anyone?

Has anyone come across a transformer enclosure that also acts as a mount for the Ring Doorbell Wired? I’ve seen these sold separately but I’d like something combined if it exists.

Are you asking about mounting the transformer outside right behind the doorbell?

Yes, that’s exactly it. I already have a mains feed outside, so I want to avoid drilling through the wall again.

I don’t think I’ve seen an all-in-one option. You might need to use a weatherproof junction box for the transformer and then mount the doorbell separately.

There are some DIY solutions where people use a generic transformer box and modify it to fit a doorbell mount. Have you checked forums for ideas?

If you’re worried about weatherproofing, some enclosures are designed to keep transformers dry and can be adapted for mounting a doorbell.

I had the same issue and ended up just buying a separate enclosure and mount. It worked fine after some adjustments.
