I have a rental property, and the new tenants want to install a security system at their own expense.
I’ve heard nothing but bad things about ADT, and a Vivint salesperson gave me a hard sell with lots of misleading information about a year ago.
So, who offers a decent security system?
I appreciate any recommendations!

As a security expert, I recommend DSC.COM equipment. Their wireless system allows you to place the keypad anywhere you prefer, though it does need to be connected to an outlet, ideally located near a door or in a nearby hallway. The keypad serves as the receiver for wireless door and window contacts as well as motion detectors. You can purchase only the items you need, avoiding any unnecessary equipment. If you wish to have the system monitored, you can compare prices and find a service for just a few dollars per month. Programming the system is straightforward if you follow the instructions. You’ll own the system outright, with no ongoing payments, and you can take it with you if you move.
