I’m struggling to find solid reviews on outdoor door knobs for the front door, specifically ones that hold up well over time and offer good security. I’ve tried Kwikset in the past, but the internal parts broke down after about 5 years. Does anyone know of a front door knob that’s secure and built to last?
Check out Bowley Lock Company. The Lock Picking Lawyer on YouTube reviewed it as well. I’m no expert, but it’s known for an interesting and secure design.
Schlage is another solid option—they have a lifetime warranty on most of their products, and it’s pretty easy to use if you need it.
About the Lock Picking Lawyer, just keep in mind he’s very skilled, so most people wouldn’t be able to pick the locks he can. Still, avoid any locks that he shows can be opened with no effort!
