I’m in the market for a security camera system where I can install multiple cameras. Wireless would be nice but isn’t a must. Here are my main requirements:
I’m looking for the best value for the money. I recently came across a brand called TieJus, but I’m open to other options and would love to hear your opinions or experiences with similar systems. Thanks in advance. 
Depends how much you wanna spend, I would get some universal POE cams like some Hikvisions or similar, get a basic poe switch and a small pc with a decent size drive and a miniumum of an i5 8th gen or better and set up your own system. Use something like Ispy or Blue Iris for recording and monitoring. This way the system is fully under your control. No subscriptions no cloud shit. I put 5 camera’s up around my house and the only cost was the expenditure for the hardware.
Lorex offers 4k cameras, wifi, hardwire, and a DVR with up to 4 terabytes of capacity. They are available at Costco for $399 with 4 cameras.
