I’ve got this old Monitronics alarm system in my home, but I don’t know the alarm code. The previous owners never gave it to me. Everything else on the system seems to be working, but I can’t find the alarm panel anywhere. I looked everywhere, even the attic, but there’s no panel to be found. Doesn’t every alarm system like this have a panel somewhere? If I replace the keypad with a new one, any suggestions on what to get, and why? I’ve attached a picture of the old one.
You should try the Honeywell LYNXR wireless all-in-one panel. Since you’ve already got a bunch of 345MHz Honeywell sensors, an upgrade to the Qolsys IQ Panel 4 would work well too. The IQ Panel 4 supports the 345MHz legacy sensors. It comes in black or white, and there are three versions based on your carrier – Verizon, AT&T, and Telus in Canada.
@Evelyn
Thanks for the help, I’ll look into those!
You actually posted a picture of the alarm panel.

I’m not an expert with alarm systems. I was talking about the white metal box that most alarm systems have in closets or laundry rooms, not the panel itself.
