Nest thermostat schedule, does it start heating early to hit target temp?

If I set my thermostat to 61°F overnight but want it at 70°F by 7 AM, will it start heating before 7 AM to reach that temp on time, or will it only turn on at 7 AM and take time to warm up?

From what I’ve seen, it starts heating early enough to reach the target temperature by the set time.

I tested it for a couple of days, and mine doesn’t seem to do that. I set it to 67°F for 7 AM, and at 7:43 AM, the heat was still on, but the temp was only at 60°F.
