Motion Sensor Indoor Lights

Does anyone have experience using Ring motion sensors to trigger indoor lights, such as smart plugs, dimmers, or light bulbs?

I would love to hear your experiences and thoughts on how responsive they are.

I am using the front point for security, but one drawback is that their motion sensors cannot integrate with third-party services like Alexa or IFTTT for automation. The idea of using ring motion sensors both for security and to trigger lights when entering a room seems like a great reason to switch. I know other companies offer motion sensors for lights, but I’d like to minimize the number of sensors in our home if one can handle both tasks.

We currently have 5 Kasa Smart Plugs and 3 light switch dimmers, but I’m open to replacing all the lights in the house with ones that can be controlled via a smart app if the Ring motion sensors function smoothly.

Ring motion sensors are quick and responsive—like having your own personal light switch. I set mine up with smart plugs and dimmers, and they worked like a charm.
