Looking for solid delayed alarms for my shed?

I need a good door alarm for my shed, which is about 200 feet from the house. It’s filled with valuable tools, bikes, etc. Ideally, I’d want an alarm that goes off super loud if someone breaks in, but with a short delay (maybe around 15 seconds) so I can disarm it when I go in.

Any recommendations?

Most basic alarm systems will have an entry delay option built-in.

Looks like a haiku! ‘Pretty much any burglar alarm system will have an entry delay’ – nice accidental poetry.

You could also consider a camera inside the shed.

Maybe an outdoor motion sensor with a remote control to arm/disarm. I find the remote easier to use than a timed delay.

Our building uses a super loud fire alarm with a strobe light that would definitely catch attention!
