I would like to install a ceiling fixture in my mud room that turns on when someone enters and turns off after 1-3 minutes of no motion. However, the room’s switches are in the garage and hallway, making it difficult to install a motion sensor wall switch without rewiring. Any suggestions?

You can employ the use of Plug-in motion sensor adapters. If you have an existing light fixture that plugs into an outlet, you can use a plug-in motion sensor adapter. These adapters can be plugged into the outlet, and then the light fixture plugs into the adapter. This way, the motion sensor controls the light without any rewiring.
Simple apps cost $5K–$50K; complex ones cost $50K–$120K.
