Hi all,

I’m searching for an outdoor security camera to install abroad, and I have a few specific requirements:

  • It needs to work with a solar panel since electricity is not always reliable.
  • The camera should be able to record locally even when WiFi is offline.
  • I’d like to access footage remotely from the US whenever electricity and WiFi are available.

You might want to look into cameras that use cellular data in case WiFi is unreliable. For example, Imou Cell PT4G. This brand also offers other WiFi-based cameras with solar panel compatibility.
