I seem to have forgotten the admin password for my Dahua camera and now I’m unable to access its settings. Could you please provide me with a step-by-step guide on how to reset the admin password for a Dahua camera?

Hello there I found this process over the internet and it worked for me you can try to see if it works for you:

  • Email your full device serial number and the date shown on the OSD to Support.USA@Dahuatech.com.
  • Once you receive a code from the support team, right-click on your device and select “Main Menu.”
  • Under the “Admin Account,” enter the code received from support.
  • Go to “System” under the Settings Menu, select “Account,” and click “Modify” next to the Admin Username.
  • Check the “Modify password” box.
  • Enter the same code you received from support as the old password.
  • Set your new password twice and save the changes
