I purchased a Floureon H.264 Network/Digital Video Recorder from eBay a while ago. The package included two cameras, which I set up to monitor the front door and the parking area where we keep our cars. After installing a hard drive, everything seemed to be working fine.
Unfortunately, our car was broken into last night, and when I checked the footage, I discovered that one of the cameras— the one overlooking the car—was not working. The hard drive, which had been recording previously, now shows an “Error” message with no information available.
I’m also having trouble accessing the system through my main computer, even though it’s connected to the same network.
So, I have a few questions:
- Has anyone had experience with Floureon systems? It’s been difficult to find detailed information online.
- Has anyone encountered similar issues with Floureon products?
- Given these problems, can anyone recommend a more reliable security system?
