I set the alarm and triggered a wired motion sensor. It worked and alerted as expected, but the zone won’t reset.
Even after 20–30 minutes, if I walk past the sensor again, nothing happens—it still shows the original zone as triggered, but won’t detect a new event.
Turns out the issue was in the communication variables section (377) under swinger shutdown. I reset all timing settings to zero and also adjusted the EyezOn settings to show zone restoral. Then, I restarted the system through the app.
The reset button on the keypad doesn’t affect alarm memory or motion detectors.
If you’re testing this during a single arming cycle without disarming in between, then the problem was likely the swinger shutdown setting in section 377 of the communication variables. Swinger shutdown determines how many times a zone can trigger before the system ignores it for that arming cycle. If it was set to 1, the zone would only trigger once and be ignored until you disarm and rearm the system. The factory default is usually set to 3 trips.
