Does ring home standard plan cover damage to a device

As the title says, does anyone know if the Ring Home Standard plan covers physical damage to a device? For example, if someone knocked my Ring Doorbell Camera off the wall and it broke, would it be covered?

I know the plan covers all my devices, but I’m unsure about the specifics of the coverage. If there’s any warranty or protection for situations like this, how do I go about filing a claim to request a replacement?

I’d appreciate any advice or feedback on this.

If you have a police report for the incident, it could be covered under Ring’s theft replacement. But the warranty only covers defects, not physical damage.

No, I didn’t file a police report. It seems like it won’t be covered under any type of warranty or replacement program. Thanks for the feedback, though. I appreciate it.

It’s still worth giving Ring a call. They might offer a solution.

Unless you purchased an additional warranty, like the ones offered through Amazon or other sellers, it won’t cover accidental damage. Warranties generally only cover manufacturer defects.

No, I didn’t buy any extra warranty coverage. Looks like I’m out of luck. Thanks for letting me know.

For future purchases, you might want to look into Amazon’s subscription plans. They cover multiple devices and save you from managing individual warranties.
