I bought a Levoit Core 200S air purifier. I noticed the air in my room felt nice to breathe. Was I just being too careful?

Hi Leeland. No, you were not. This variety of air filters is designed to theoretically eliminate a minimum of 99.97% of airborne particles that are 0.3 microns in size, encompassing a range of particulates such as dust, pollen, mold, and bacteria.

I have an Atlas Air Purifier, and I find it to be really effective. It eliminates smoke, odours of various kinds, and other particles from the air. Having one in your room or the house is highly recommended.
The Levoit Core 200S air purifier is designed to improve indoor air quality by removing pollutants such as dust, allergens, pet dander, smoke particles, and odors from the air. That therefore means that the improvement in the air in your room was not you being careful.
