Customizing Wyze notifications? Need a way to filter alerts by zone

I’ve been using Wyze cams indoors for a while, but recently added some outside. Now I’m getting a ridiculous number of notifications every day. I’d rather have too many than too few, but Wyze really needs a feature similar to detection zones—except for notifications.

Basically, I want the camera to record everything but only send notifications if something happens in a certain area. I know you can record events without notifications, but I want a way to filter alerts to only notify me about motion in specific zones.

Anyone from Wyze able to push this idea?

I’m still waiting for the ability to turn off notifications for shared cameras. It’s been 3 years and no update on it.

I wish we had this as well. Nest had this feature, so it’s definitely possible.
