Can I transfer a plan to a new property?

We sold a property that had a Plus 1st Gen plan for a single camera. I deleted the location from the account. Is it possible to use that plan to cover two cameras at a different property? The plan is active until March 2025, but right now it’s not covering anything and feels like wasted money.

I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to have multiple locations on the same account. Plenty of people do that for vacation homes or accessory dwelling units.

We did have two locations, but the plan only covered one. That property is sold now, and the plan is still active until March. When I canceled it for that location, I got a notice saying the plan would remain active until then. It just feels like money is going to waste.

You should be able to transfer the plan to a new location. Have you looked into the process for transferring plans?

I tried checking, but our plan isn’t through Amazon or any service with that feature. The steps I found don’t seem to apply.

You’d likely need separate plans for each property. The app does make it easy to switch between locations if that helps.
