Can I install a Nest power connector with a furnace that has no C terminal but has a draft control?

I’m in the same situation as someone else I saw on this forum, but my furnace already has a draft control between the thermostat and the furnace. I’ll post pictures in the thread.

I want to know if adding the Nest power connector could interfere with the draft control or if it should work without issues.

The GSK3 gas spillage switch is a safety feature, not a control mechanism. You definitely don’t want to bypass it, but installing the Nest power connector shouldn’t cause any problems since it just acts as a simple on/off function for the thermostat.

That makes sense. So as long as the draft control is doing its job, the Nest power connector shouldn’t mess with it?

Right, it should be fine. Just make sure everything is wired correctly, and you should be good to go.
