I’m considering purchasing the Philips Hue Sync package, which includes the Sync Box, Gradient Lights, and Play Bar. I plan to use the Play Bars at the bottom of my TV since the light strip doesn’t cover that area, and my TV is wall-mounted.
My current setup consists of an Nvidia Shield TV connected to my Samsung Q950A soundbar, which then connects to my LG G1 OLED TV. Ideally, the Sync Box would sit between the soundbar and the TV, supporting formats like 4K, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS, etc.
I already own some other Philips Hue products, and while cost isn’t my primary concern, I’d like to stay within a budget of no more than $500. Before making the purchase, I’m wondering if there’s a better alternative out there that offers full HDMI gradient color sync, preferably covering the entire TV.
