Best outdoor WiFi battery cameras with no subscription?

Hey, I’m looking for recommendations on WiFi outdoor battery cameras that don’t require a subscription and actually work well.

I’ve tried three different Eufy models, and while one was better than the others, all of them have failed to record important motion events when I needed them to. I also considered Wyze but worry it might have the same reliability issues.

Any solid recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I’ll take a look.

Reolink cameras are a good option if you want something without a subscription. They have solid battery-powered models with local storage.

Have you looked into Blink? They don’t require a subscription if you use local storage, and battery life is decent.

I had similar issues with Eufy missing motion. I switched to Arlo and while some features need a subscription, basic motion recording works well without one.

I use Reolink Argus 3 Pro, and it’s been working well. No subscription, and it records to an SD card or NVR.
