Best one-way mirror film for windows?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations for a one-way mirror film to install on my windows. I live in a ground-floor apartment and want more privacy during the day when I have the shades up. Nighttime isn’t an issue because I just close my blinds and curtains.

You can get window tint on Amazon. Reflective one-way mirror films might draw more attention, though. With tint, the lower the percentage, the darker it is.

Keep in mind that most one-way films only work when the inside is darker than the outside.

Yeah, I know that. I’m just looking for specific product recommendations if anyone has them.

Why not use curtains?

I have cats, and they destroy blinds and claw at curtains if they’re near the windows. I want them to still be able to look outside without worrying about neighbors peeking into my living room. Plus, I like letting sunlight in.

Some people just prefer being able to look out the window.

That’s how they all work. They’re basically half-silvered mirrors. If the area outside the window is brightly lit, nearby people might not see in, but someone further away might still be able to.
