I am fascinated about wireless camera systems for home security; are they reliable? I am thinking about installing one, however I am not sure how effective they are compared to wired systems. Can anyone share their experiences and thoughts on the benefits and drawbacks of wireless camera systems?

The quality of wireless cameras is dependent on the quality of your home Wi-Fi network. You may have glitches, video lags, and camera freezes if your Wi-Fi is too slow or if your camera is too far away from your connection. In certain cases, bad Wi-Fi can even make it impossible to access a camera’s live feed.
I have 5 Reolink wireless cameras and a wireless doorbell, and they all connect very quickly. I used to have Arlo cameras, but they were incredibly slow and unreliable.
