I’m planning to use a Qolsys IQ4 panel with Honeywell 58xx series sensors and detectors. I’ve read that some IQ4 panels support the frequency these sensors use, but others don’t. How can I confirm if the panel I have will be compatible? Any advice would be appreciated!
Yes. The 5800 series sensors communicate on 345MHz, so they require the 345MHz version of the panel to be supported.
How can I confirm that my specific panel has that version? I don’t have any sub-model indicated.
Go to Sensor Test. You should be able to see if it’s 319.5, 345, or 433.
