I have a bunch of Ring devices, including a doorbell and floodlights. I’m looking to switch to Nest/Google. Is anyone with Nest/Google devices interested in a trade?
Why are you making the switch?

I already use Google devices for everything else, like phones, Google Home Hub, Google TV, etc. Switching to Nest would let me keep everything in the same ecosystem. For example, I could view my cameras directly on my Google TV if they were Nest cameras.
Why not connect your Ring devices to Google Home so they work with your Google ecosystem?

I didn’t know that was possible. Could you explain how to do it?

Here’s how you connect Ring to Google Home:
- Open the Google Home app on your phone or tablet.
- Tap the + button, then select ‘Set up device’ and ‘Works with Google.’
- Search for ‘Ring’ and select it.
- Enter your Ring account details and authorize Google Home to access your Ring devices.
- Select which Ring devices you want to control through Google Home.
- Follow any additional instructions.
Unfortunately, visitor announcements and some advanced features may not be supported.
@Jeremy
Thanks for the detailed instructions. Sadly, Ring doesn’t appear as an option in the Google Home app anymore. It seems like older videos and guides may not be accurate.

I wasn’t aware that it’s no longer available. I’ll check and see if there’s an alternative for this.
@Jeremy
Appreciate your help! Thanks again!
