Anyone Installed an Energy Monitoring System?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on energy monitoring systems. My last electric bill was quite high, even though I haven’t been using the heat as much as the previous month. Plus, my entire house is fitted with LED lights.

Has anyone here installed an energy monitoring system? I’d love to get a better handle on my energy usage and understand where I might be able to cut costs. Any recommendations or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I used Emporia, and while it works well, I wish I had chosen something that reports directly to the home assistant so I didn’t have to poll their servers.

Thus, I did end up buying the Emporia. It appears to be a more useful out-of-the-box experience.

What shortcomings do you think the Emporia system has?
