Anyone heard of 'Safe Home Security'?

Someone came to my door today claiming to be from Safe Home Security. Has anyone heard of this company? Supposedly, they’re based in Nashville, TN. What are your thoughts?

As a rule, any company that goes door-to-door is likely to be a disappointment at best and a scam at worst. Even well-known names that use this approach often sell poor service or subpar equipment.

Yeah, I wasn’t impressed by what he was selling, even if he was legit. I already have a security system.

He mentioned my front camera right away, but I didn’t tell him I have more cameras around the perimeter and inside.

I install security systems for a living, and I still get these people knocking on my door. My work van literally has security installation listed on the side, and they still try to sell me something.

Not everyone selling door-to-door is a scammer.

They’re not based in Nashville. They’re actually out of Rhode Island, and they have a terrible reputation. Probably one of the shadiest security companies you could deal with. Avoid them.

Appreciate the info. I’ll look into them more.
