1440p compared to 1080p for a security camera

Hello …I’m currently in the market for a new security camera setup for my home. I’m debating between getting cameras that record in 1440p resolution versus 1080p. I’ve read a bit about the difference in image quality, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has hands-on experience with both types.

Could you please share your reviews or comparisons between 1440p and 1080p security cameras? What are the noticeable differences in clarity and detail? Any insights on performance in different lighting conditions or for identifying objects/people?

Depending on the security camera system you’re using, you should be able to digitally zoom in on the screen.
With higher-resolution cameras, you can zoom in further since there are more pixels and data available, so it takes longer before the image starts to look blurry.

Be prepared to pay top $ for either of the cameras. Also I suspect that they would require constant WiFi/ network connection
