Anyone else having issues with the Cove app for over a week?

For the past week, my cameras on the Cove app have been showing as “unavailable.” I tried general troubleshooting, but nothing worked. After contacting their phone and chat support, they said they’re aware of the problem and working to fix it but provided no timeline. They recommended using an interim app, KamiHome, which requires a complete new setup, while they work on the issue.

We’ve been using Cove for four years without problems, but this feels sketchy. Has anyone else experienced the same? Thoughts on what’s happening?

I’ve had the same issue with the Cove app on Android. No access to cameras or alerts. I’m using the older Cove Simple Panel with Kami cameras. They replaced one of my indoor cameras with a Eufy model before, and it’s much better. This might be the push I need to move away from Cove entirely. They’ve been getting less user-friendly over time.

I’m on iPhone, and I suspect it’s an issue with the latest iOS update. About a month ago, I got locked out of my account, and now the cameras don’t connect. I tried resetting them, but no luck. It’s frustrating to pay for full access when I’m not getting it.

Same! I told them it’s unacceptable for a security company to have their app down for a week without notifying customers. I demanded new cameras that work with their updated system, and they agreed to send me free replacements.

My cameras went down two weeks ago. I called Cove, and they said the dev team is working on it but didn’t provide an ETA. I’ve been told to expect an email when it’s resolved, but I’m losing patience. If this doesn’t get fixed soon, I may switch to another provider.

Glad I’m not alone. My cameras stopped sending notifications on January 3rd, and I couldn’t access any footage. Called support, and they told me to download the Kami app as a temporary fix. They also gave me a $30 credit ($10 per camera). This whole situation is frustrating, and I’m considering switching providers.

I finally got an honest update from an agent. The Cove app was upgraded and is no longer compatible with the Cove Simple Panel and Kami cameras. Here are your options:

  1. Keep using the old panel and cameras with the Kami app and microSD cards.
  2. Upgrade to the new Cove Connect Panel and Eufy cameras, which work with the new app. However, it’s an all-or-nothing system—you can’t mix old and new devices.

After years with Cove, this situation is making me reconsider continuing with them.
